Outline and Description

Product Description

One Module -- Two Unique Goals

First, you learn to get organized.  You outline a four week work -- perhaps a short story, or a series of four connected poems or essays.  It is only important that you can accomplish this work in a month.

While many writers compose without a plan, this is unwise for most of us, since it leads to procrastination and often bogs down a narrative.  Imagine driving somewhere wonderful without a map.

It might be fun.  It might also take forever.

So, we engage the logical left brain and create a basic map for immediate success: production.  There is a deadline.

The Right Brain Needs to Play

And that is where description comes in.  For your work to come alive in a month, you need to get into lavish descriptive detail.

You will read some of the greatest descriptions in literature -- and with fresh senses -- create new ones to vivify your great plan.

So much can happen in a month...
